He was the middle of three bids, but the highest in quality. Robert had a very good sense of what my design considerations were, and helped me match siding and roof. He proposed a gutter system in dandem and got the job and subcontractors organized in quick succession (siding, roof, gutters). The gutter job was also especially nice, and the roof is gorgeous and laid down just right. He asked questions and gave answers all along the way, and was really pleasant to talk to. Also good - he was involved all the way. The other two bids I got were from firms that sent a separate pricing person - one so young that I don't think he actually knew what the work entailed. Robert Pence clearly brings a lot of hands-on experience to this work.
