Ayers is more than just a hardware store: It's our area's "everything" general store. It's a second generation family operation (the earlier generation retired when covid came along and made it too risky). They have all of the standard hardware and home and garden products, along with kitchenware, shoelaces, shelving, some appliances, and flowers and vegetable plants in season. Their staff is nice, helpful and knowledgeable providing good advice on exactly the product customers need for their projects. Their prices about the same as large chains (Home Depot, etc). This is due to their approach of keeping their products affordable rather than maximizing profits. We do a large share of our gift and household shopping there. One of your staff should visit there sometime.

Ayres is the hardware store that has everything you are looking for. It's a family run store and has the nicest people working there. And the staff are very knowledgeable.

Attached is what I can only call a "five and dime store." It's like a walk back in time.
