Due to the heavy rains in the spring, the low area of my backyard had significant flooding (water edging close to the house and towards the in-ground pool). I called three different companies to get their recommendations (as well as researching on the internet to ensure I understood what was needed). Clearly a french drain was needed but also how to control the surface water during heavy downpours. In addition to having so many great reviews on google and yelp, Troy Weatherholtz of Superior Landscaping was the only one who made logical recommendations, answered all my questions, and to be honest, sounded the most knowledgeable/professional. The 120’ drain was installed yesterday. Troy and his crew arrived on time with heavy machinery, and trucks of gravel and soil, worked like a well oiled machine, and left the area spotless. I also had a paver walkway installed for additional drainage as well as looks. Everything looks great! What really impressed me was how Troy and his team clearly understood my concerns about the surface water. They built up several areas to deter water coming from a neighbor’s higher ground, to deter water from going towards the pool, and direct water to the two drain basins which connect to the french drain. I highly recommend Troy and Superior Landscaping.

They do a superior job indeed.. Troy and his crew were pleasant, competent, and thorough. I had some severe drainage issues that he resolved by putting a french drain throughout the yard, as well as replacing a deteriorating out-of-code set of stone steps. I am very pleased with his work and highly recommend his services.
