We had a pair of somewhat tricky retiling projects in two bathrooms. Isaac and Nicholas, who performed the work, were respectful, quiet, clean (as much as reasonably possible), and best of all, did a great job. Everything from initial communication with staff to a few final checklist items was handled professionally, and the price was very competitive. While this was more than a typical handyman project, we'd recommend Jim the Handyman to anyone and will definitely contact them again for any future "handyman" needs.

We retained them to repair and paint some exterior woodwork on the house. They did a poor job the first time around and then promised to correct things. By this time, we had paid them a substantial sum. The second time around, things did not improve. They refused to refund the money but offered to come out a third time to fix things. Came out again and the work still didn't look good. Each time we complained, they sent out this nice gentleman who politely listened to what we said - and then a different crew would come out to do the (shoddy) work. Finally, we paid a different contractor to redo the work to standards. Jim the Handyman may be OK for fixing a towel rail but we would definitely not recommend them for anything more complicated, as their confidence in their abilities doesn't match their performance. Overall, polite folks but the work was shoddy (really shoddy) and they didn't refund our money.
