We worked with their landscape design department on a patio and rain garden project. There was poor project management from the time we signed the contract. They provided the subcontractors with a concept sketch that left out key details and failed to provide adequate measurements. The "rain garden" was a gravel bed with no depth, and overflowed back towards our basement, causing flooding. The carpentry and stoneworking teams did not coordinate, leaving to steeply graded slope between deck and patio that washed mud onto our patio. The person who planted the plants had no idea what they were, where they belonged, or how to care for them, leading to sun damage. They originally said they would fix the stone and rain garden issues, but now are charging us to fix them. Apparently, our friends also worked with meadows farms and had a horrible experience. We should have asked around before using their landscaping service!

The landscape designer, John Fish, was excellent in providing a balanced and nicely varied new landscape design for our home. The installation team was great while they turned a sea of dirt into a pleasant vista

Never signed a contract. The designer came an hour late and only called after being 30 minutes late. I thought she might not show at all since it was raining and had never responded to my email saying the time and date she would come was OK. She spent 10 minutes looking at the terraces to be landscaped and then drew up a plan that was not legible, mentioning plants I had never heard off. Finally she showed me on the phone what they looked like. She said they had no Hollies which I wanted and then expected me to sign a contract for $6,000.00 on the spot. I might add that the plants being used were cheap plants and there was not enough variety in her plan.
