Paid $70 for a Shampoo I had been a regular customer at Prima Hair & Day Spa several years ago, needed a decent haircut, and made the mistake of going back to get a haircut by the owner. At that time, my hair was at least six inches longer in back than on the sides. I explained that I wanted my hair to eventually be in an even curve from the sides to the back and just a little longer in back than it was on the sides. When she was finished, my haircut was the same as when I walked in, but my hair didn’t look as good since I had used a curling iron, and she hadn’t. I considered asking her to actually cut my hair, decided the hair cut could be a disaster, just wrote it off, and went to Hair Cuttery in McLean the next day—where I paid $50 for a good haircut and style. I expect it to be great after my hair grows some more on the sides.
