Jim Lyons has been my handyman for many years, a guesstimate of over 25 years. He does work throughout the Northern Virginia area. He has vast knowledge of many subjects related to his work and can handle most tasks needed. If the issue is outside his expertise, he will say so. A few of the many tasks he has done for me--enclose a screened porch, lay down flooring, build shelves, replace/clean showerheads, install fans, research and replace carbon monoxide/smoke alarms--the list goes on and on. For others, he has handled jobs such as full kitchen and bath renovations. He is willing to take on small and large tasks. I trust him completely, enough so that beginning many years ago, I gave him keys not only to my residence but also to a rental unit I own.
