For my remodel, the contractor suggested I would save money by doing business with this company directly instead paying for flooring through his contract. Although I believe I did save quite a bit of money, dealing with this flooring company was strange. I think they were not used to walk-in customers. I was there for a long time looking at flooring and nobody else came in. They were selling many other types of products, not just flooring. The receptionist tried to be helpful in showing me their flooring products, but she had to wait for the owner to come back from lunch to answer any questions and provide a quote. It all seemed a bit unprofessional. During installation, I asked the installers to leave a small gap at the wall so the LVT would not buckle. They insisted it would not do that, although I have seen it happen. Also, they didn't fill in a dip in the subfloor which I discovered later when I stepped on the flooring. I called the company to have it fixed, and the receptionist said the owner would call me, but he never did, and given my experience in the "showroom" I was disappointed but not surprised.
