Cleaning is adequate, but they're careless about things like dinging walls & furniture.

I was told verbally and in writing by the owner that the only extra charges would be if I wanted to have our oven ($50) or refrigerator ($50) cleaned, but my credit card was charged an extra $16 for changing of bed linens ($195 instead of the $179 quoted for biweekly cleaning of our 2,900 square foot home). Because of the "confusion," they agreed to give me a $188 biweekly rate and gave me a credit for the first $16. The explanation given for the “confusion” was that they had recently changed their rates and the owner was unsure what the linens charge was, which made no sense. If she was unsure, why would she not have said that there would be an extra charge, but she wasn't sure exactly what it was? Why state verbally and put in writing that there would be no extra charge other than for oven or refrigerator cleaning? Also I had been told that the day before our cleanings the company would let me know what time to expect the team. “That way you won’t be in the shower when they come!” the owner had said. But I had to email to ask about the arrival time for the last two of the three cleanings we had done. When I learned at 7:30 a.m. that the team would be arriving between 8:00 and 8:30 a.m., when I had expected it to be at around 12:30 p.m. like the first two times, the office manager was adamant that the time could not be changed in any way. There was only an offer to make a note in their system for the future about advance notice and later arrival time. No acknowledgment that the lack of notice was different from what had been stated before the contract was signed. I have cancelled our service with this company. A note that the cleaners themselves were pleasant and wanted to do a good job.
