One of the best traditional (i.e. non-cageless) dog boarding places I have found in the area, especially in terms of quality for price paid. They seem to be very good to the animals, and I appreciate the availability of extra energy-burning activities - also offered at very reasonable prices. This place seems to have a real following, and I can see why! Pick-up/drop-off hours are fairly limited compared to other kennels, but they make up for this by not charging extra for late pick-ups or early drop-offs.

This kennel is run by some Catholic nuns and they do a great job. Our dog actually greats the nun when she comes to pick him up; I think that he believes that he's going to summer camp. They are very caring. A friend's aging dog ended up in hospice care at Paws Awhile while they were on vacation. He said the nuns were incredible and he will always be in their debt for the time and compassionate care devoted to his dog, Maggie.

This is where my dogs go when I'm going on longer trips. It is a haul for me to get out there, but the prices are much more reasonable than my local cage-free daycare/boarding facility. There is a discount for multiple dogs, and they are both able to stay together in a spacious indoor/outdoor run. There are a bunch of add on services like hiking, playtime, petting, etc. You can also get your dogs bathed on the day you pick them up. Drop off and pick up hours are pretty limited, so you need to plan around that. The people are super nice -- the place is run by nuns.
