Our master bathroom was our first renovation project, and I wanted to find a solid company with a good reputation. I found it difficult to get a written quote from other contractors even though we weren’t redesigning the room; it was merely a renovation. One company actually insulted me and didn’t seem interested unless we were prepared to remodel our entire house. IKAB listened to our criteria and provided a written quote that included tight scheduling of all workers and subcontractors, environment protection, and a material concierge. I was completely new to this process, and having Dannee there to make suggestions facilitated material selection. For color choices, I was drawn to grays because I feel they complement my favorite color blue, but her suggestion of warmer countertop and floor colors to brighten the room was the right choice, and our bathroom looks great.
I like the fact that project costs are self-contained, and my payments are for my project only. I don’t have to rely on payments from someone else’s project in order for work to continue on mine.
The job started on the promised date. Our Project Manager Efren was fantastic. He was always polite, respectful, and ensured my questions were answered. When unexpected problems cropped up, Efren was on top of rearranging scheduling to keep it tight.
I do have some constructive feedback. Some information and details were missed and not passed down the pipeline, so there was some confusion on a couple matters like the change in shower door supplier and owner painting scheduled for the weekend.
I am happy with our new master bathroom and my friends were amazed at how quickly the work progressed as I showed them pictures during the process.
