I went to this store because of the general good reviews I saw on consumer checkbook but the person who helped me had a very intimidating attitude. I told him I was interested in their HELIX beds but would consider other equivalent brands in my specified price range. He made a lot of negative comments about the HELIX brand and said people buy them because they do a lot of marketing and pay to get good ratings. I also mentioned another brand and model I was interested in from a nearby competitor because of features I found to be desirable. He then said if there were certain "requirements" that had to be met then we'd need to look at their most expensive beds, double the price of the HELIX and the other brand I mentioned (he mistakenly assumed "desirable features" were the same as "requirements", which they were not). After I told him their most expensive beds where out of my price range, he then pointed out a few other non HELIX beds for me to look at, that overall were around 1/2 the price of the HELIX models, and well below my stated price range. After seeing I wasn't overly enthused about the lower priced beds he showed me, he said," If people want to buy HELIX beds they can do what they want, I really don't care". A very strange experience (and I'm sure HELIX wouldn't be happy to know that one of the retail stores that sell their beds is giving them a bad wrap). Needless to say, I won't be going back.

we had an excellent purchasing experience but when the product was delivered we were told they couldn't take our old headboard & mattress (although we had been assured by the sales person the removal of both was no problem). We were told to call the sales person if there was a problem which we did with no avail. They did come back the next day & get the head board but it's really poor customer service to be assured one thing & then to stress over it in the end. Mancini's are all over the place so I'd probably go to another one if ever in need of another mattress.
