In June 2021, a service technician came and installed a thermostat for my furnace and a/c unit. He connected the thermostat to my a/c but not my furnace. I called in October 2021 to have them finish the job and connect my furnace. The service technician then told me my furnace is to old to work on, but my a/c is connected to my furnace so the service technician that came in June 2021 should have told me it was to old at the time. Now the company is still demanding I pay a service call fee even though I told the company rep my situation before booking the appointment. She never mentioned a service fee or that they could not work on a furnace more than 30 years old.
