Several years ago, during my routine dental cleaning and checkup, Dr. Kelly found a small lump in my neck and recommended that I see my primary care doctor about it. That doctor suggested that I get an ultrasound and a small nodule was discovered on my thyroid. All is well, but things could have gotten much more serious if it weren't for Dr. Kelly making the initial discovery.
