We used Commonwealth for a move from our DC house into storage and, three months later, the move from storage to a high-rise apartment in Bethesda. Both legs of the move were handled promptly and professionally at a competitive price. This is a relatively small family business. We learned that many employees have been with the company for several years and some for decades. The camaraderie of the crew was obvious from their smooth performance. The owner of the company did our estimate and identified some issues peculiar to our belongings that another bidder, from a much larger company, did not spot. Checkbook ratings steered us the right way.

Our experience with Commonwealth Movers was topnotch. Our situation was a bit complicated, as it required packing and putting our things in storage, moving things back into our house, and then packing everything up and placing it in storage again, and finally moving to our new home in another state. Kevin, Faith, and everyone on the crew were accommodating and very pleasant, handling the process with professionalism, competence, flexibility, patience, care, and on time. We highly recommend Commonwealth Movers.
