Lenny fixed/replaced seven electrical fixures in my house. He was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. Very fair price. Would definitely use him again.

Strange receptionist. Won't make appointments, says it's because the weather has to be just right but even when the weather is just right, still won't make appointments. Very defensive when this was pointed out. Accused me, the customer, of not being professional! I don't think she understands that the customer isn't supposed to be the professional electrician. I'm professional when doing work in my profession, which is not being an electrician or I'd do it, myself. Something is not quite right with this person if she doesn't even understand the customer - electrician relationship. Switched to Norb and Sons and had a great experience. They are a great company from the perspective of the customer, including the receptionist/scheduler. No weird stuff.

They insist that things be done to "code" even if you refuse. This isn't usually a bad thing, but if they're doing work that doesn't require a permit (like replacing a broken outdoor GFCI outlet,) they insisted on adding a big bulbous plastic cover on top of the already-covered outlet. It made the outlet stick out another three inches out from the wall for a total of about six inches into the deck walkway, presenting a tripping hazard. They did not ask if I wanted this, and when I asked them to take it off, they refused. There was another similar issue where they told me they wanted to install a light switch to turn my already-installed dishwasher on and off. I told them I didn't want them to do this, but they did it anyways without telling me they were going to anyhow. I had to pay for this, even though I didn't want it.
