We just had our first experience using Peddicord Plumbing and it was excellent. We needed a new gas hot water heater, and we examined proposals from several area plumbers. While Peddicord’s proposal was not the absolute lowest, it was eminently reasonable. But what impressed us most was the way they dealt with us as we weighed the various proposals. Each time we put a question to Peddicord – and we had several – they responded promptly, clearly, frankly, and completely. They demonstrated that they were knowledgeable and took their work seriously and, moreover, that they treated us with respect and integrity – all important factors as we concluded that this was indeed a business we could trust. The installation could not have gone more smoothly. The installers arrived on time, worked efficiently, and cleaned the area completely when they finished. Also, after installing the new unit, they verified that it was working properly and then took the time to fully explain the controls to us and the maintenance procedures, along with advising us of the steps we needed to follow to get a WSSC inspection. For a major plumbing installation, this was as good as it gets, and we would feel completely comfortable in using Peddicord for our future plumbing needs as well as recommending them to others.

I had a bathroom faucet that leaked at the base when the hot water was turned on. In this Delta faucet, they replaced a cartridge on the hot side and recommended the cold side also as a preventative measure. I agreed with that. The cost was materials plus one hour of labor. As a new customer, I received a $20 discount. Readers can compare the Peddicord labor rates to other plumbers in the plumber ratings. My previous plumber sold his business to a larger corporation. You can see their ads on TV. At least one Yelp review indicates that the move was detrimental to customers. That is why I sought a new plumber. I am satisfied with Peddicord as my new plumber.
