AJ installed French drains and a sump pump in our basement 30 years ago. The basement is still dry!! I recently called AJ to discuss options we are considering for the basement walls. He offered his most excellent advice for free and answered all of my questions. We will definitely be using AJ for any basement needs in the future. He is honest and knowledgeable.

My home is from the 1930s and has a stone foundation. I’ve been having sporadic water issues in my basement for a long time. Until now it was just a minor annoyance, and the pre-existing French drain handled the issues without a problem; however, recently the water issues got much worse resulting in a large amount of water and mud entering my basement each time it rained. I called AJ Waterproofing and left a message with his wife; within an hour AJ was on the phone with me going over the issue in detail. After discussing on the phone and sending AJ pictures of the issue he was able to determine the root cause of my issues immediately (before even coming to the house). Two days later, AJ and his crew came to the house and the issues they found were indeed what AJ had already determined on the phone. AJ’s crew performed the necessary repairs in the basement as well as outside to resolve the water issues. His crew ensured that all areas were appropriately covered to prevent dirt/dust from spreading during their demo work, and they cleaned up the jobsite when they were finished. Later that evening AJ called me as a follow up to ensure that everything went well with the job. I would highly recommend AJ Waterproofing for anyone having water issues. I’ve had many contractors over the years, and it is difficult to find one that is as responsive as AJ as well as someone who takes the time to properly identify and fix the issues instead of just a sales pitch.
