When I applied for a mortgage from Trumark, my loan officer was Mark Giannotti. I have no doubt the Mark knows the mortgage business, but dealing with him was not always so pleasant. Quite a few times, he addressed me by another name. Additionally, he didn't seem to remember any of our previous conversations. He would often talk to me how he could set up a mortgage plan (down payment, term, etc.), even thought our recent conversations had decided on a different plan. I found it very difficult keep track of what was happening. I felt that Mark approached each conversation with me a new, with nothing we had discussed earlier being addressed. I ended up with another mortgage company, because I found the facts that Mark couldn't even call me by my own name and his seeming memory lapses (no notes from our conversations?) to be deal breakers.
