Got estimate from Hal. Never mentioned that workers couldn't to 3 windows because of nearby electrical wires. The washing was horrid! The windows were spotted with years of grime that I thought would come off. I got out my trusty vinegar and whipped up a batch of H2O, vinegar, & a drop of dish soap and cleaned the window in front of supervisor. Spotless. So I asked him to rewash the windows with my mixture and he said he could not because they only use their products. Even called Hal and he confirmed that they would only use their products. I got really upset and asked why they would use something that didn't work? Answer: that's their policy. And then they wouldn't do the windows I explained about. No other contractor for painting, awnings, stucco, or pointing have refused to do the work because of the wires. They had proper ladders that bypass the wires. Now I am getting lots of calls from Hal that I have to pay my bill. I will not.
