I would never recommend John Beitzel as an appraiser. Twice in six months he came to appraise my house and did not even come close to the actual value of my property. He did not use comps that were within 5 miles of my house and did not account for any of the upgrades. I had to pay for another appraisal company after him who gave a fair market value appraisal which was substantially higher than his appraisal. John Beitzel takes your money, provides a low appraisal so you need another one in the future and he comes out again and does the same thing. Do not waste your money on this guy! He will cause your mortgage/refinance to fall through!
