High quality work, but at premium prices.

This is the fourth time I've used Bonilla Tree Services. Efrain Bonilla provides excellent advice on maintaining tree health. The crew is very efficient and does a great job of cleaning up. I will happily use them again.

I have used them for years. Prices are at the ouch point but are probably within range of other quality companies. Due to their recommendation I had a large hardwood tree removed that looked fairly healthy except for a dead limb overhanging my house and a small hole at the bottom. I have regretted that decision. On some other trees I asked for 14" logs for my woodstove and they cut them 16". I didn't notice until they were gone. They did nice work cleaning up a fallen arborvitae from the heavy snow. I asked them to leave wood chips and they preferred to bring me some better ones another time. I am still waiting 5 months later and need to follow up. When giving an estimate to remove a specific tree, Bonilla will always survey your trees advising what else to remove, and I listen but don't always agree. Although leaning trees can be an issue, an arborist told me they are frequently leaning toward the sun and not because they are going to fall. Bonilla says doing the work in the winter will save money; I don't know how much as they provide no comparison.
