Work was done satisfactorily, but not all the work was necessary. Was a simple leak requiring a new washer, but pipes and joints were replaced.

The plumber came to fix the garbage disposal. He was on time and did not charge a service fee upfront. Usually the service techs will try to treat one’s home with respect and care, but this was not our experience. No prep work on his part-no footies, no bucket to catch water (complained about bucket that was under the sink & wanted to take an item from my dish rack), no rags, did not cover the hardwood floor with a tarp to place his tools & equipment. He went in and out the front door over 5-6 times getting items instead. He charged almost $600 to replace the garbage disposal and told me the Garbage Disposals at HD were not the same as Ferguson’s even though the Model and manufacturer were the same. (I would usually have told this guy to take a hike before he even started had my disposal & sink were not leaking so badly.) He was careless, rude, complained about the people at his company, and former company (Len’s). I would never call this company again. Positive: Disposal is working & so far no leaks. Negatives: Plumber makes a big mess, no respect for a person’s home, disorganized, a big bad mouth for his company, chronic complainer, and gouges customers. A GD replacement should not costs over $350 Parts/Labor. Another company to avoid calling.

Realtor referred me to this company for repair of bath tub leak. Plumber quoted price is $2,300 explaining that wall required cutting and due to difficulty of job, a second plumber would be required. On day repair was to occur, owner called an hour before the start time stating company had an emergency with another customer and wanted to do the repair the following day. As my house was on the market and not wanting to delay the repair, I contacted another plumber, JP Plumbing Solutions, who came out within two hours and completed the repair with one person at a cost of $690, a savings of $1,610. Owner called later attempting to explain the extremely high rate reporting that the plumber was new to the company and did not know how to fill out the software forms mistakenly quoting a bath tub replacement. However, Owner was engaged in the conversation with regard to the quote and according to the plumber, approved a discount of $200 which would have been $2,500. While the plumber may have been new to the company, he was a seasoned plumber who one would expect to know that an estimate of $2,300 was completely out of the ballpark. Owner texted later stating that if the quote had been accurately calculated, he still would have still charged $1,300 for the repair, again far more than what it cost me with JP Plumbing Solutions
