Have had Acura service here some years, despite the regular upsells and unrequested inspections. Never expect work to be done in less than a day. Recently, the valet service appears to have gone missing. Last two scheduled visits this spring ended with no work being done. First visit it was clear they did not get to it at all, and wanted to hang onto the car until they had time; this for a visit scheduled a week in an advance with a clear service request. Second visit, valet never picked up the car. Service manager cannot be bothered to return calls/messages. What previously was manageable has become unacceptable. Loss of interest once a car reaches a certain age? Below average ratings on Checkbook appear to be accurate

Performed electrical work but the fix only lasted a year. And was over $2K. They soaked me. You can stand there like a statue and the service specialists will ignore you. Sadly, the BEST service specialist ever passed way. I cried when he died because he was such a wonderful person!

Repair was done under the GEICO Express offering of my insurance company, so although I saw the service estimate in a timely manner, I was paying only my insurance deductible, so didn't weigh the cost or get quotes from multiple providers against which to compare it.
