Susan and her team were absolutely wonderful! She explained how the estate sales process works in great detail so my wife and I were quite comfortable. Her team members took great care with all our goods. We'd thrown out a number of items which were in the garage. The team members painstakingly went through all the items and pulled out many that could be sold. One team member asked me if I had grandchildren and I said yes. She then asked if I would like to keep all this genealogical information she'd found in the discard pile. I emphatically said yes. This family treasure would have been thrown out without the due diligence of the team member. The incredible professionalism and very helpful attitude of Susan and all her team members, especially Seth, the appraiser, resulted in a wonderful experience. We were amazed at the money we received over this 3 day sale! Way beyond our expectations. My wife and I whole-heartedly recommend Bethesda Potomac Estate Sales - A Fair Lady.

Susan Willis and her team are outstanding. We give them a 100% rating and an enthusiastic endorsement. They were honest, professional, organized, and knowledgeable. One other estate sale agent we spoke with told us that my parent's house didn't really justify an estate sale and "no one really goes to them anymore anyway," he said. He offered his "one call solves it all solution" where we would pay him at least $5,000 to clean out the entire house and then he would sell what he could in his consignment shop and pay us our cut. His website says that he does estate sales, so I'm really at a loss to explain his attitude. We called Ms. Willis for a second opinion. We just completed the estate sale on Sunday and total sales were $24,000 with her team keeping 40%, which is standard, it seems. That is a difference worth tens of thousands of dollars between paying someone $5,000 and hoping for the best to recoup some of it. Ms. Willis provides a written log of all items sold and the prices paid. She provided an end of day total for each day of the estate sale, as well. She also has contacts at Habitat for Humanity to get them to respond to requests for pick ups for items unsold but that still have donation value to keep them out of the landfill. (HfH is not the most responsive organization to those seeking to donate house contents.) She has a wide range of experts in coins and books to help properly evaluate the worth of those items, as well. It was a pleasure to work with Ms. Willis. In helping my parents clean out their house, it is an extremely stressful time for our family, and we've encountered a depressingly high number of people willing to take advantage. Ms. Willis is honest, hard working, knowledgeable, and transparent about everything. She delivered for our family during a very stressful time, and I recommend her company enthusiastically.
