We lucked into buying a hybrid SUV the day it arrived on the Pohanka lot, during a period where stock was low throughout the area. During purchase, all the staff were extremely pleasant and supportive. Our salesman was brand new, though, and mistakenly gave me a wrong explanation about security features that raised my insurance cost. I was able to fix this and expect it was a one-time issue. Because we swiped the car on arrival day, not all the initial checks were done, which was no big deal, except that the first-oil-change reminder went off far too soon, causing a wasted appointment. The only real issue was had was a very unpleasant registration clerk, who slow-walked our paperwork for weeks, making it difficult to set up EZ pass, and causing extra follow-up with the DMV when the title never arrived.

After working via Internet chat for a half hour to determine whether the dealership had a specific make, model, and transmission, I was told I would receive a call back to schedule an appointment with a particular sales rep. Upon arrival for the appointment, I learned that the sales rep was not expecting me, was unaware of the vehicle I wished to test drive, said he could not search his database for a manual transmission. We left the dealership frustrated, having spent 2 hours round trip for nothing. The sales rep did leave subsequent voicemail and email messages saying they had a vehicle matching my requirements in stock. But I have chosen not to do business with this dealership and have explained the reasons to the manager.
