AVOID. I paid a solid five figures for them to turf my backyard (two relatively small patches) and do landscaping with river rock. My backyard was ripped up left a dirt pit during the summer (with COVID, kids and a dog) for more than two extra months because the subcontractor went MIA. I repeatedly requested via email the owner provide me with documentation showing when the turf was ordered and documentation from the turf seller showing when they got notification that the turf was going to be delayed, and the contact information and name of where they obtained the turf. The owner repeatedly ignored my requests and did not provide this information. The owner only reluctantly stepped in to finish the job, and with a poor attitude, when the subcontractor disappeared because I continued to press. He ordered the turf approximately six weeks after it was to have been installed. (Yes, I had paid the sums set forth in the contract.) Ultimately, the turf got done, but I never got the documentation I requested via email. Well, one patch of my turf got damaged by someone working on my home approximately 1 ½ years later, and they reached out to "Best" to match the existing turf. Best attempted to put in PUTTING GREEN GRASS!!!!! It was about 1/2" high and obnoxious green!! I don't know if he ever did keep any records, because the turf I had chosen was "natural-looking" grass with color variations, maybe 2" high or so. They then put in cheap long bright green grass and tried saying it was the same, it's just due to time. The edges all show the undermat and there were seams showing. But in any event, it is not close, let along matching. I've had the contractor as well as my own landscaping company attempting to get in touch with these guys to put in turf that looks like the existing turf for FOUR MONTHS. Nada. Will be posting photos on another review website and reaching out to BBB and possibly Maryland Department of Consumer Protection. Terrible experience.
