One of the worst contractors I have ever had the misfortune of hiring. I had to fire them before the work was completed because they kept damaging more of my house than they were fixing. They also failed to obtain any permits for plumbing and electrical work and then lied and said permits were not needed. Having over 30 years in the construction industry, I am very aware of when permits are needed and what quality construction should look like. I even had two water leaks because of their shoddy work and it ended up destroying a bathroom vanity and major water damage to my hardwood floor when they incorrectly installed an exterior door which leaked during the first hard rain and flooded the floor and caused the hardwoodto bow and warp. Unfortunately I did not realize the problem with the door until after I fired them, so I ended up having to pay for that repair, as well as many other areas damaged-so much so that I can't even list all of the damage they caused.. Even after all of the damage, the owner acted as though I was being unreasonable and that he was doing me a favor by doing additional work. I reminded him I was paying him for that additional work and to not do me any more favors, just finish the remaining work without doing any more damage. Unfortunately his employees were unable to finish without continually making things worse so I eventually had to give them the boot. I then had to hire another contractor to fix the damage that Eco-Pure had done. Having contractors in your house doing a major renovation is stressful enough without having to deal with an owner that refused to take responsibility for his employees subpar work. The owner even refused to come to my house when I wanted to show him the numerous areas that had been damaged by his employees. He took no responsibility whatsoever for the horrendous craftsmanship of his employees and has no customer relation skills. Eco-Pure might be fine if you need to have a ditch dug, but I wouldn't trust them with anything more complicated. I would steer clear of this company. Damage is going to happen every now and then, but if the owner of the company refuses to take responsibility and hires employees that cannot even perform marginally acceptable work, you will end up extremely frustrated, just like I was.
