The second job he brought an engineering buddy to look at the job and and then turned to me to pay the guy $250.00. I was NOT aware when he showed up there would be a charge. It seemed he brought a friend to make some extra money.
Then he said for the large remodel I wanted for my house he said I needed to hire an architect/designer. He recommended someone. Since they worked together and since I had six years of experience with him, I agreed and signed a contract. The architect took months to provide designs and they were all worthless. It was a large waste of money and I'm guessing he got a kick back from the architect and then walked off the job.
He seemed very upset when I reminded him it was my house and my money and if I wanted to use a supplier for windows, different than the ONE the offered it was my choice. He also kept blocking things I wanted and contacted the architect directly and gave him directions of things his way.
Then worse of all was when he gave an estimate for a friend but she went with another contractor, his response was to call her a F@@@ing B@@@@. I don't know what has changed in his life but he behavior was not professional. Hire someone else.
