we bought a new 2018 SUV there in July 2018, using the CarBargains program as we have for decades. before listing the major negatives, we must say that both salespersons (one in May who since left for another dealer; a second one whom we dealt with) were absolutely great. that's where the good part ends. as for CarBargains, Honda/Acura now know how to game the system by adding on dealer-options which are normally factory-installed. all this adds to the bottom line, but we know how to get our price and did. where this all turns sour is with the Finance Dept and title clerk, who made all sorts of mistakes with our DMV paperwork. we had to wait almost 3 months to get our title (on a cash purchase!) because they sat on the paperwork. the manager was very dismissive and insincere about helping us, only giving lip-service, and wanting us to go away and leave her alone. even after we finally got our title, DMV sent us a letter stating that they had no record of our insurance for the car -- all of these issues were caused by the dealership. we've since spoken to neighbors and heard similar horror stories about the finance (paperwork) dept here. as of this writing, we are escalating it to the owner (whose number we have.) also learned that many good-deals were ruined after the sale by this same dept. after all this, would we talk our car there for service??? prob only for warranty or recall work *requiring* a dealer. too bad, since this is otherwise a nice, modern facility with a diverse workforce. but, we would NOT feel comfortable recommending this dealer at all.
