Ed Vanderhoeven and his team had done a superb job when we needed a new roof in August 2008. Recently on a Saturday, a tree branch fell on the roof, creating a hole in the roof ridge shingle. We contacted Ed that day and he talked us through how to fix it ourselves. Since we did not have the replacement shingle, we asked him to do it. We were worried about the weather forecast which was calling for rain everyday the next week. Ed personally came out that Monday and replaced the shingle, charging us a reasonable price and less than the price he had quoted. He did a fantastic job and we continue to highly recommend Atlas.

Superb Roofer We highly recommend Atlas Roofing for their skillful replacement of our roof five months ago. Owner Ed Vander Hoeven carefully inspected the roof, spent time discussing issues, and provided a detailed contract and estimate. One question was how many plywood sheaths should be replaced, to be determined only after the old shingles were removed. The two other estimators, who quickly looked at our roof, said we should consider replacing all the sheaths (about 60) on our 1962 house because of soft spots. Ed assured us that Atlas would replace only those that needed it. The foreman, John, showed us a photo of the exposed sheaths--a lighter one that had been replaced previously, and an old dark sheath that needed replacing. He said 22 sheaths needed replacing. At $85 per sheath, this was a considerable saving over the other estimates. Ed also replaced our old attic fans with new ones that had attractive brown vent covers to complement the roof and house trim. In one day, our house was re-roofed, new attic fans hooked up and working, everything back in place, and the surroundings completely cleaned. Now, when the wind howls and rain, snow and sleet pummel the roof, we feel secure with a sturdy roof over our heads.
