Found them to be flexible and sensible dealing with an old house with metal roof. They maintained communication through a couple of hiccoughs and price was reasonable.

They just installed a new roof for us, replacing the original roof after almost 30 years. They did a great job and the transition as to how the house looks is wonderful. In addition to replacing the roof, they also did a really nice job replacing the deteriorating face board and replacing/repairing gutters where necessary. We had gotten several estimates , and their price was the best. They were also very pleasant to work with, including the staff at the office and Ricky and Oscar, who managed the project. They completely lived up to all of the good recommendations others have given on consumer checkbook.

I picked RM Banning after reviewing Consumer Checkbook's research. They had excellent reviews, and while I received up to 7 proposals from different vendors, we decided to go with them for the reasonable price offered by Javier Cano, the project manager, which included replacing our roof with new Landmark Pro architectural shingles and replacing our acrylic skylight with a new glass one. While we did have one other bid that was a little cheaper when comparing the scope of work, that other company only had a 5-year workmanship warranty, whereas RM Banning offered up to 15 years. Most of the other bids we received were a little more expensive, with 10-year warranties, and we did not consider two other bids offering 25-year workmanship warranties, which I viewed as overpriced by several thousand dollars. So we are happy we went with RM Banning; they did a wonderful job installing the new roof and skylight within 2 days, and cleaning up and removing all the debris. I would strongly recommend RM Banning for a new roof.
