I purchased a new range in April 2018. The selection was fine, and they had the model I wanted at 40% off. When I asked about installation, the cost was about 50% of the cost of the appliance. On top of that, the installer Lowe's hired suggested I needed to replace my gas shutoff valve for another $165. If I had to do it over again, I would hire my own plumber to do the install.

Lowes shines when there's an issue with the product. We bought a refrigerator that didn't fit and they exchanged it without any problems. The manager, Rodrigo, was outstanding!

The sales person was adequate but did not know where particular appliances were located on the showroom floor. He was willing to help me find information on line so in that regard he extended himself. Other staff were too busy or did not make eye contact.
