Requested three bids, from top recommendations in Washington Consumer CheckBook, for our home in Clifton, VA. Only Johnny Locke of Augustine Roofing promptly responded, er, make that ONLY Johnny Locke responded. With torrential rains this year, we had roof leaks. Johnny did recommend their "roof tuneup". Additionally, had large flat roof redone. Estimate of start date was accurate and work began on time. Work was completed with schedule. All very clean. Like max EZPZ.

Excellent workmanship throughout the project. Kept materials neat and clean. Used drone to double check the roof work when project was completed. Stayed on budget and within project timeline.

Of the 4 or 5 roofers I contacted, Augustine gave me the best price estimate. Their estimator, Johnny, provided a thorough estimate including photos of the roof. It took about 3 weeks to schedule, which sounded like the industry average in this area. The large crew worked efficiently and all work was done in one day, including a pretty thorough clean-up. I appreciated the fact that they did not require an upfront deposit as well.
