I have had a great experience with JAS Roofing. When I needed to replace my roof a few years ago after I discovered a small leak, they were the only roofer that concluded my roof for damage might have been caused by hail and suggested I contact my homeowners' insurance company--which ultimately verified it was storm damage and covered the replacement cost. JAS installed the new roof quickly, efficiently, and expertly, and it looks great. After a few years a couple of shingles on the vertical portion of the mansard roof came loose, and they promptly fixed it at no cost to me. The same thing happened again this year (not a workmanship problem but a design weakness of a mansard roof's vertical section that receives full sun); again they came out and fixed the loose shingles at no cost to me--spending a couple of hours to do this work several years after they put in the roof. JAS is professional, thorough, and a pleasure to work with.

Dealing witg JAS was truly a pleasurem from beginning to end. After several patches to the asphalt shingle roof of my McLean split-kevel house, it became clar that the time had come for a new roof. I got several bids, and JAS was among the lowest. I was impressed by Rick's efforts to keep my costs under control. (The house, like the owner, is old, and when it is eventually sold -- almost certainly in the coming decade -- it will be a "tear down," so I did not need a 75-year warranty. A further complication was the discovery that the crumbling chimney would have to be replaced before the roof work could be done. I put Rick in touch with my chimney guy, and they agreed on a schedule that would allow te roof work wo be donc immediately after the chimney was finiushed. As promised, the JAS crew (8 workers) showed up at about 8:00 a.m., and they finished the entire job shortly after noon! The old roofing materials were hauled away, and the cleanup was impeccable, with no debris or nails left behind. In addition to installing the new roof, JAS also did some minor repair work on the wood sheathing beneath it. The final product was beautiful, and recent rainstorms have sown no leaks. For service, workmanship, and general customer satisfaction, I cannot recommend JAS too highly. If ever I need a roofer, they will be my "go-to." (Indeed, when a neighbor mentioned that he needed some roofing work, I recommended JAS, and my neighbor was as pleased with them as I was.)
