This dealership recently changed ownership due to the death of a previous owner. The person we dealt with seemed clueless and not interested in providing answers to our questions. Unfortunately, we have a small kitchen by today's standards, so our choices were quite limited.

These folks really stand behind their products. We wanted to buy a gas range, a dishwasher and a refrigerator from a local store. These folks were highly rated on the consumer checkbook, and they carried highly rated appliances by Consumer Reports. We bought all three appliances from them. All went well, until a little over a year after our range was installed. The controls wouldn't work, so we had to flip the breaker switch constantly to use the oven. By then, our range was out of the one-year warranty, so we arranged for factory repair person to come and fix our appliance. The technician took one look at our range and said he couldn't repair it because it was damaged. We thought that was just the way the range was supposed to look, but he pointed out the damaged areas and told us it couldn't be repaired. We took this information back to the store. It took a few months, but eventually we talked to the owner and showed him photos and damaged parts. There was no evidence that the store or installation people were responsible for the damage, or why the range's failure took so long to reveal itself, but he nonetheless stood behind his product. Bottom line, he replaced our range. You have to respect integrity like that. This is a good place to do business.

We've been going to Glebe Road Appiances for almost 20 years. We are saddened when Dabney passed away but have found the new owners have maintained the same quality service.
