Bob's is a staple of the community because it consistently provides great furniture at lower prices than the competition. I wholeheartedly recommend Bob's to anyone looking for furniture at a good price.

We purchased furniture at MyBob's Furniture on Nov. 11, 2021 and something seemed strange the way the salesman wanted personal information. When we got home I called our credit card company and found that the store put through our order 27 times for a total charge of approx. $130,000. Thank goodness for having a charge credit limit as only two of the charges took. We went pack to the store and spoke with the manager. He said they were working on reversing the charges. We have been back to the store daily for 5 straight days and get the same answer. They are working on it. In Virginia the amount makes it Grand Theft Larceny and Fraud.

We went to Bob's Furniture two months before my daughter's planned moved to Richmond and bought an entire suite of bedroom furniture, including boxspring and mattress, for a little over $3000. Part of our choice of pieces was based on representations by the salesperson that the pieces were in stock and that by paying for them at that time they would be held until, and ready on the August delivery date that we required. When we called to finalize the delivery date four weeks before her move in, we were told that half the pieces were out of stock but would be delivered two weeks after the scheduled date. Because the bed was still represented as available, we decided not to cancel the order. Two weeks before the scheduled delivery date, we received another call that all of the pieces were on backorder but should be there within a month of the original date. We went back to Bob's and cancelled the order and bought furniture from IKEA instead, saving over $1000 in the process. To be fair, there was no pushback from Bob's on issuing the refund, but to be honest, there was no responsibility taken by them for the misrepresentations regarding the furniture's availability and no concern shown whatsoever at losing the sale. Emails to Bob's headquarters and "customer care" team went unanswered. I do not recommend ever doing business with this outfit, especially if the timing of furniture receipt is important.
