I have multiple chemical sensitivity which has left me homebound and unable to go in any buildings but my own home for 19 years. Exposure to even tiny amounts of chemicals and molds can make me very ill so I have been reluctant for a long time to reroof. When Bill came out to give an estimate he was positive and happy to take the job on and try to meet my needs in so many creative ways. Each time I raised a concern and asked that he do something a special way, his response was always “We can do that!” He really cared how everything he was doing would affect me and he and his boys were so careful on the job. He even spent one afternoon getting trained on the no VOC underlayment and tapes we had purchased. This underpayment is healthier in that it does not have chemicals and is vapor open releasing moisture that comes through the attic from the house so it can dry out. It is also waterproof from the outside so if a shingle blows off no water will get in. Bill and his boys have the skills to install it for anyone now.
Carrie, his wife, who does the scheduling, is just as positive and cheerful. She is so warm and down to earth. She worked hard to schedule us during a dry spell and I am grateful for that.
The crew, their sons and “adopted sons,” were wonderful! They were whistling, happy, hardworking fellows and we enjoyed getting to know each of them a little better.
When the job was complete and the noise of the staple guns and blowers silenced, we loved our new roof but felt sad as we waved goodbye to people who had become like family.
Although Bill’s Roofing is one of the most reasonably priced companies around, they do quality work and extend a 7-year workmanship warranty along with many other qualities that set them apart, their true asset is that they have big hearts. They want their customers to be happy and have a positive experience.
I could never express adequately my gratitude to these good, caring people who went the extra mile on our job. You and phenomenal! ?
