Used full service expert for 2025 tax year. Went weeks before one was assigned. Then the assigned person didn't show up for their scheduled meeting with me. the cycle continued until one expert finally met with me. Then, the TT interface did not permit me to check out. More weeks went by for the issue to be kicked up to the IT de-buggers. I noticed that fairly important mistakes were made on my returns that I has specifically discussed with the expert before she prepared them. It took another 6 weeks to amend the returns. The tax preparers themselves were knowledgeable and professional. There are simply too few of them and they are extremely overworked. The Turbo tax system of assigning you an expert and computer interface are horrid.

Following all the steps led to an error in state taxes followed by fines. TurboTax never accepted it was an error in their algorithm.

Recommended
Have been using this service for many years now, simple and complicated returns. Easy enough to use, presumably comprehensive in dealing with all the circumstances and, if you don't object to getting nickled and dimed, can provide you with paid representation as insurance.
