I contracted with them for help after my knee surgery. The tasks I needed were routine and not technical or specialized. They gave me a guy who was completely unqualified to do this kind of work and lacked common sense. . I sent him home shortly after he drove me home. Beacon is dragging their feet to refund my money, by not crediting my credit card, and wanting to take a month to mail me a check.

quality of care depended on individual caregiver -- not guaranteed by hiring this agency. Of several caregivers who came through, only one was excellent -- succeeding in getting patient to exercise and participate in activities.
