Physical Therapists are knowledgeable, friendly., and welcoming. They also perform Ortho Massage in addition to exercises as part of the treatment plan. Printouts of appointments if provided. They will work with each patient to schedule appointments that meet individual needs. Be aware that most Physical Therapy locations are often booked well in advance. Facility is clean, parking lot in front, safe area.

Have gone to Albany PT for many years with various issues. Until this last visit I was very happy with their treatments. This review is just for this young man who was assigned to my treatment. This time, I had orders from 2 different doctors. The first one was for an arthritis issue and the Dr. wanted to see if PT would help with the problem. The second was for an ongoing injury. They were to be worked on in that order. The PT was a young man who I had never seen before, the woman I usually saw had left. He began treating my injury instead of the arthritis, even though I told him the arthritis work was needed to be done before an upcoming appointment so that the Dr. could evaluate its effectiveness. I reminded him a couple more times and he continued to ignore my request. I finally cancelled the rest of my appointments because there wouldn't be any results to show the Dr. during my impending appointment. During the PT appointments, he didn't communicate with me at all. I prompted him with a couple of things I thought might be adding to my pain, his only responses were "I noticed that." What I wondered was, why he didn't tell me. It would have helped me to know it sooner. I am now looking for a new PT.
