We went with Residential for our heat pump installation a few years back and they have been good about helping us out with regular maintenance and review of the equipment. Quite friendly staff, and while the prices for the installation came in above other estimates, they were very conversant with rebate programs and such, which brought their prices back down into reasonable ranges.

They spent a year (several service calls) trying to keep a 35 year furnace running, trying several new parts, but never succeeding. Finally they refused to service it any longer and offered to install a choice of two replacements ($8-9,000). They also suggested Valley Heating as an alternate repair service. Valley Heating solved the problem with one 15 minute inspection call: An intermittent power line connection due to an undersized wire nut from 35 years back.
