When they came out to survey the job and recommend products they need a little more training on consulting with the customer. They told me I would need a lot of the wiring replaced and I didn’t and he did not tell me they would need to run new refrigerant lines and they did.

I asked Perfect Star for a bid on a heat pump. The contract for the proposed work specified certain costs that the "Owner" was responsible for. Perfect Star told me that "Owner" referred to the owner of the business, not the homeowner, which cannot be right, as the contract also referred to the "Contractor's" responsibilities. Not trustworthy.

Perhaps no different that other AC companies. More interested in selling you a new system than repair. I asked representative the cost of freon if my AC system needed it. She said the tech will tell you the cost. Huh! They can't tell you that cost over the phone? A salesperson did come out and subsequently gave a cost to replace the system. Estimate was double another AC company's estimate.
