Not Recommended
As a Concord resident, I'm stuck with this company. Although they claim to be all about keeping things out of landfills, they dump our green waste in with the garbage each and every week.

Weekly pickup service is regular and reliable. There is much inconsistency in their communications about exactly what they will recycle. Their website, links, mailers and office staff all give differing information about what they will and won't recycle. I don't want to be a "wishcycler" and just throw everything in the recycle toter that I want recycled, I am interested in doing it right and not putting stuff where it won't be cycled back into something useful. I pay a hefty sum for a separate service to recycle all the things MDRR won't take but when I can't get a straight answer on what they will take, it's a challenge to get it right. Paying for two services to do the same thing is frustrating, I hope they will live up to their name and recover more resources in the future.

In Concord, we have no choice but to use them. BTW - they are now knows as Mt. Diablo Resource Recovery.
