I made an online appointment with Precision Garage Door due to the advertising I've been seeing on television. I had a snapped lift cables on my garage door. The technician that was dispatched gave me a verbal quote of $2600+ to repair the door. He said I needed new springs, drums, cables, and roller bearings. This sounded very fishy to me so I told him I was going to get another estimate and sent him away. He emailed me a quote which had a difference price($1,809) than what he quoted verbally. I then contacted B&C Garage Doors of San Ramon who gave me a quote of $150 over the phone to replace the two broken lift cables which included the travel charge. The technician inspected my garage door after replacing the cables and said I didn't need anything else. I highly recommend B&C but I would not recommend Precision Garage Door of San Jose to anyone.
