Originally wanted simply to replace top and side deck boards. Estimator provided estimates for complete replacement and top/side boards only. Chose top/side boards only. Crew came out and began to build without notifying me that deck supports were rotten and should be removed and entirely replaced. I had to call estimator to come out and confirm. This delayed work. Ultimately, they had to remove all new and old wood and build the deck from scratch. The deck was ultimately completed to my satisfaction. The price was the middle of 3 estimates.
