When something broke inside my 20 year old garage door opener, according to the guy they sent out, they wouldn't even try to check out or repair my old unit and my only option was to replace it with a new $1000 unit. The new unit only came with 1 remote. I had 8 remotes for my old unit which can't be programmed to work with the new opener. so now I need to buy 7 new remotes.
