I was fortunate to find Gus' Garage Door Service. My 88 year old side by side sliding garage doors suffered a failed bearing in the suspension and would no longer open. They had been difficult to open for years. I feared they could not be repaired and would have to be replaced with a modern style, overhead garage door. I found Gus who advertised repair of sliding doors on his website. He came out the next day and told me he could repair them how it would be done and about what it would cost. I agreed and he came out again the following day with an assistant to help in removing the very heavy doors so they could be repaired. They removed both doors, replaced the failed suspensions and shortened the doors so they could clear the ground over their full range of travel. They re-hung the doors and adjusted them. It took about three hours and the charge was very reasonable and less than what he had mentioned the day before. Gus was easy to talk to, explained everything he was doing, why it should be done, and was very patient in answering all my questions. I highly recommend Gus' service.

Gus was great. First gave me some suggestions on how I might try to fix the problem on my own, which I appreciated. Wasn't able to do that, so he installed a new opener and got everything working. Fast and thorough.

We had a sliding garage doors that only moved with great effort and now after Gus did his work, they move like silk. He was responsive, fast and a very nice man. Highly recommended.
