Our dogs love Grand Lake vet! All of the vet techs and vets are friendly and very loving with the animals. I think I could bring in a snarling, snapping, crazy dog and they'd be giving it treats and cuddling it before we even got into the exam room! While vet care has been tough to schedule during/after COVID, I really value that they take the time to assess what is needed and try to get your pet in the door just as quickly as possible. And, while vet care is never cheap (and they are no exception), they will help to delay or cancel tests that are not strictly necessary when possible. All in all, this is a wonderful veterinary practice!

I've used this vet for a long time, through 3 cats' lives. Overall, I've felt like they listen to me, give good advice, great care. They also have been a good partner for end of life decisions. One negative comment I have - I just took my cat on a plane trip, and they charged me a a few hundred dollars for a 'health certificate' that I ended up not needing. Don't listen to the vet for requirements regarding travel, check with the airline!
