covered refrigerator repairs we were then having, starting around 3 years ago and at least continuing on
to a few months ago. We were, continually and constantly having problems with a new Kitchen Aid refrigerator we had purchased brand new at Airport Appliance in Hayward. It was just one thing after
another on and on and on as I still assume that we had unknowlingly purchased a refrigerator lemon. that
no one would do anything about except send out an Aires Repairman by the company that is located in
Michigan that we luckily had a 5 year service contract with. The Aires repairmen we had would come out
to our house 2 maybe even 3 times a year - on and on. They did their best and each time would try and try to end all of the constant service calls, they did good work and I would recommend them highly for
their skill and never ending effort. But we could never reached the minimum 3 time repair visits in 1 year in order to officially label our refrigerator a "lemon" and get it replaced, as there always seemed to be something else that went wrong, not 3 times in a row with the very same problem. With trying different
repair options, as instructions from Kitchen Aid company big wigs would instruct, the problems have certainly lessened but not gone away completely as the Aires repairman only had to come out once in
2017 and so far only once in 2018. But I say our Kitchen Aid refrigerator is still a "lemon" as far as I
am concerned and do not believe that the repair calls will ever stop with this refrigerator. THE SOLUTION: DON'T PURCHASE A KITCHEN AID REFRIGERATOR!! i KNOW THAT WE WONT EVER DO
SO EVER AGAIN.
